The Little Black Dress of Party Drinks

The Little Black Dress of Party Drinks

We’re always intrigued by any drink that works day and night—and can be sipped all afternoon or evening long. Our latest find in this regard is called SpikedSeltzer—an all-natural, gluten-free, low-carb sparkling beverage with relatively low (6%) alcohol. It comes in four cold-pressed fruit flavors—West Indies Lime, Valencia Orange, Indian River Grapefruit, and Cape Cod Cranberry.

SpikedSeltzer launched two years ago in Connecticut and defies easy classification. It’s technically a “beer” because it’s brewed like one—the sugar is cold-fermented and then ultra-filtered (not distilled). That being said, it’s reminiscent of a spritzer with the effervescence and subtle fruit notes that make for easy sipping.

SpikedSeltzer can be enjoyed chilled, on the rocks, or mixed into a cocktail. Some of our favorite fall cocktails that use SpikedSeltzer are below.
